What's On

Each week at church involves a range of opportunities for worship, learning, fellowship and service of others.

Sunday Services

Sundays 11.00am and 5.30pm (weekly)

The 5.30pm service is held at the Capstone Centre in Alness.

Prayer Meeting

Prayer is such an important part of Church life and we meet to pray every Wednesday night at 7.30pm.  Our meetings are very relaxed – we sit round a table, usually the Minister will start us with a singing and then share a short devotional to help focus our thoughts, then we spend the rest of our time in prayer.  Anyone who wants to pray can pray (but you won’t be forced to if you don’t want to!) and all are free to share prayer points.

A Zoom link is also available for the Wednesday night meetings – link available on request.

We also have early morning prayer via Zoom on Tuesdays and Thursdays – get in touch for the link.

Lunch Club

Every Second Wednesday

Our Lunch Club meets every 2nd Wednesday in term time.  We meet at noon for soup, sandwiches, and delicious home baking with tea and coffee.  After we have eaten there is usually an hour or so of Gospel singing.  Everyone is welcome along to the lunch club, it is free (though you can make a donation if you wish) – it is a great time of fun and fellowship together.

Knit & Natter

Thursdays

Knit and Natter is not just a knitting/craft group…it is much more than that.  It is a friendship and fellowship place.  We natter every bit as much as we knit!!  Each session we choose a good cause to support.  We donate £2 each week which helps towards our cost for using the Community Room, and part is set aside for our chosen good cause.

Youth Fellowship

Every second Saturday (term-time)

Our Youth Fellowship meets every 2nd Saturday evening during term time in the Capstone Community Room and is open to anyone from S1 – S6.  There are snacks, fun games and then the group look at various topics from a biblical perspective.

Bible Study

Thursdays

We believe in the importance of studying the Bible and to equip people to read the Bible for themselves.  There are different Bible Study opportunities within the congregation that run at different times.  Please check the bulletin for information.

Men's Chat

Last Tuesday of the month
Capstone Community Room, 2-4pm

This is an opportunity for men to come together to chat and fellowship together.  All men are most welcome; tea, coffee and biscuits provided. A suggested donation of £2 will help cover costs.

Joint Church Events - Alness & District Churches Together

We strongly believe in the importance of working with our like-minded Gospel Churches and we are privileged to be a part of the Alness and District Churches Together group with our friends from Alness Baptist Church, Rosskeen & Alness Parish Church of Scotlands, Kilmuir & Easter Logie Easter Parish Church and Invergordon Parish Church. There are regular Saturday morning prayer breakfasts, joint Good Friday Communion Service, Big Summer Hymn Sing (an outdoor praise event), Holy Week Prayer meetings, Community Christmas Carol Service and other events. As local Ministers we meet monthly to pray together.
